Size differentation of domestic goat (C. hircus, Linnaeus 1758) in the early medieval and medieval periods in Poland

Studies on the osteologic material obtained from Early Medieval and Medieval excavation in Poland were carried out. Two form of goats varied significantly in height at withers, the metapodie segment size of limb bones and the horncore length were ascertained. The differences between those two forms were more visible in males than in females. Sex dimorphism in the horncore circumference was most strongly expressed
