Statistically proved positive correlation with the seed yields showed the number of flowers, pods and seeds on the stem as well as the number of flowers and pods per inflorescence. Cultivars and lines showed considerable differences with regard to occurrence in the population of plants of different fertility. Occurrence of cultivars and lines, the seed yields of which undergo small fluctuations depending on external factors, e.g. PT 29/77, POC 17 and NAD 3, due to different response of their seed yield components to meteorological conditions, has been found
