Formation of the soybean yield depending on the date and density of sowing

The investigations were carried out in 1981-83. Also other morphological traits affected by the date and density of sowing, such as height of plant first pod setting level, number of ramifications, number of pods per plant and weight of 1000 seeds were analysed. It has been found that a more favourable sowing date for the Central Poland's region is the second ten days of May and the density of sowing amounting to about 75 seeds per sq.m
