Super sweet corn, KU.27-127 was sown in earthen pots at Suwan Farm, Nakorn Ratchasima Province. Fourteen species of medicine herbs and botanical insecticieds were applied as a foliage spray on corn at the whorl stage to determine the number of egg masses of the borers after five days of releasing on corn plant covered with plastic cages. It was revealed that Tinospora tuberculata gave the best result with only 1.19 egg masses per five plants followed by Annona squamosa, Melia azedarach, Eucalyptus globulus, Lantana aculeata, Nicotiana tabaccum, Annona recticula, Derris elliptica and Azadirachta indica (Seed) respectively.
