Super sweet corn, KU.27-127 was sown at Suwan Farm, Nakornrajasima Province. Fourteen species of medicine herbs and botanical insecticides were applied as a foliage spray on corn at 10 days old to determine the population of corn thrips, Frankliella williamsi Hood. It was revealed that Nicotiana tabaccum gave the best control against the thrips population with only 18.50 thrips per ten plants followed by Annona recticula, Derris elliptica, Azadirachta indica, Lantana aculeata, Melia azedarach and Citrus sp. at one day after treatment.
