1993
Zujovic, M. (Institut za stocarstvo, Beograd-Zemun (Yugoslavia))
The aim and significance of this paper is to investigate correlation between body mass and some body measures as well as the influence of various factors upon their manifestations and variations in domestic white goats and crosses F1 generation with Saanen from Bulgaria and Switzerland. The experiments were conducted on "Stocar" farms in Dimitrovgrad (Serbia, Yugoslavia). Three groups were formed (50 heads each), of average age 2.5 years and various genotypes. Positive correlations and statistically very significant (P 0.01) were found by analysing correlation coefficient of investigated genotypes between body mass and height of withers; chest circumference and shinbone circumference; height of withers, chest circumference and shinbone circumference.
