Chick rearing unit as affected by different levels of rationing with partial scavenging at rural condition of Bangladesh [short communication - 1]

An experiment was conducted with 96 Australorp birds of 3 weeks of age to compare the performance and economic viability of chick rearing unit on different levels of rationing under rural condition. The birds in 100 (T1), 75(T2), and 50% (T3) rationing performed similar body weight gain (p0.05) but were higher p0.05) than that in 25% rationing (T4). The birds supplied with 75(T2) and 50% (T3) rationing found economically more profitable.
