1993
Shostak, B. (Institut po Svinev"dstvo, Shumen (Bulgaria))
A trial was carried out with 4 groups of pigs, each of them including 30 animals of the Large White breed and the reciprocal crossed Large White x Landrace and Landrace x Large White. The pigs were raised in a common house, 6 in a box, and were fed one and the same mixture. Fertilization was conducted at an age of above 7 months using boars of equal age belonging to the Large White and Landrace breeds. On the 45th day following the conception, gestation was interrupted through sacrificing the sows. Weight and linear determined according to the yellow bodies (corpus luteus) number and to the number of the embryos. Data obtained from the trial were processed by the multifactor analysis.
