Nematode survey on turfgrass

During the fall of 1990 a survey was made on turfgrass in order to detect plant parasitic nematodes. This work was carried on 12 different sport and recreational places in the Central Zone of Chile. The results pointed out the presence of 10 genus of nematodes in different sport turf patches. The most important because of their number are Helicotylenchus sp., Pratylenchus sp. and Hemicycliophora sp.
