Yield tables for Araucaria anqustifolia (Bert) O. Kuntze plantations in southern Brazil were elaborated using stem analysis data. Twenty-four trees were sampled from an even-aged, unthinned, 23-year-old plantation. Trees were classified in 6 diameter classes set as a function of the arithmetic mean diameter and standard deviation. Diameter class frequency was obtained by enumerating all trees at a stand one-hectare large. D.b.h., basal area, total height and total volume data for ages from 1 to 23 were obtained from each selected tree. Total yield per diameter class was calculated by multiplying the estimated average volume per class by the frequency of trees in the same class. Totalling all yields per class at a given age provided the total stand yield at that age. The procedure presented in this paper is simple and allows the elaboration of yield tables at low cost using few sample trees
