Technologies developed for the replacement of soya grit used for mixes may handle 1400-4200 t of soya grit with full oil content, taking into consideration 2500 operating hours. Supposing 15 % soya ratio in the mixes, this is enough for the production of an average 9300-28 000 t mix. During the feeding tests done with the extruded products, an improvement of 4-8 % could be demonstrated in the utilization of the fodder. The producers of equipment should turn their attention at the existing plants to the improvement of the production technology of the pressure discs in the extruders, and to the increase of the purity of the extruded substance or the increased quality control of the final product during the process
