The relationship between climatic and number of spores groundnut rust disease

The aim of the research was to know the effective and efficient method of rust disease control. The study was carried out in the field at Condong Catur, Yogyakarta from April to August 1988. The result of this study showed that the spore liberation was influenced by climate condition and was especially more abundant at night than at the day. Low relative humidity followed by increasing of the temperature and wind velocity at the day time followed by the number spores trapped, and reached a maximum on 12.00-16.00 p.m.
