1988
Suryaningtyas, H. | Situmorang, A.
The efficacy of systemic and non-systemic fungicides on mouldy rot disease was studied in PTP X Musi Landas, South Sumatra from March 1986 to January 1987. A three replicate randomized block design was used in the experiment. Systemic fungicides carbendazim, thiophanate-methyl, benomyl, cyclo-hexamide and non-systemic fungicides captafol and triadimefon, were compared. In each plot the fungicides were applied weekly to the 5 cm wide tapping panel. The systemic fungicides (carbendazim 0.2 percent, thiophanate methyl 0.5 percent and benomyl 0.5 percent) gave good results. They were not affected by amount of rainfall and no resistant strain of Ceratocystis fimbriata emerged
