Evaluation and selection of a new processing tomato line IPA L1008

The Ipa L 1008 line was selected according to its outstanding performance and used in a more detailed comparative study with the fresh market tomato cultivar Super Marmande, which is commercially grown in central and southern regions of Iraq. Results revealed that the Super Marmande cultivar showed significantly higher estimates for plant height, number of branches and leaves / plant as well as for the fruit height and fruit diameter. Chemical and physical properties of fruits and juice were also investigated
