Relative importance of meteorological variables in snowmelt
1990

To devise a method that can more accurately predict snow melting, various meteorological parameters should be determined and their importance understood. Correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were used to determine the effectiveness of net radiation, air temperature, vapor pressure, and wind velocity in predicting snowmelt. Analysis was made of meteorological and snowmelt data obtained at a site in Omyojin Pasture, in the 1986-1988 spring snowmelt seasons
