Results showed that the income of the corn farmers could be increased through public investment in education, strengthening the extension service system, targeting the extension program to the poor and less educated farmers to reduce the gap between "ordinary" and "best-practice" farmers in terms of information technical knowledge, and improvement in credit delivery services to all corn farmers in the study area.
