Effect of dietary phosphorus on some of physiological traits in young layer chickens

An experiment on 2300 Astra B chickens of both sexes fed a diet containing 1.60 or 0.80 percent of dicalcium phosphate was carried out. No significant effect of diet phosphorus level on weight gain, feed intake and feed conversion efficiency was stated. The positive correlation between the diet P concentration and plasma P levels in chickens of the both sexes was observed
