The possibility of the application of the Digital Image Analysis System (DIAS) in outer membrane ultrastructure estimation is presented. An experiment on 14 egg shells from H22 and Z11 hen strains was carried out. The slight differences in the number of fibril in outer membrane of egg shell between the two strains were observed
