An experiment on WD-1 strain geese slaughtered between 2 and 30 week of life was carried out. Quantitative and qualitative fatty acid composition of abdominal fat by gas chromatography was analysed. The significant effect of age on abdominal weight in geese was stated. The significant higher content of mono-unsaturated fatty acids in adipose tissue of males than female was estimated
