Low fibre fraction of lucerne meal in a diet for growing pigs

An experiment on 120 growing pigs fed a diet containing 5-20 percent of low fibre fraction of lucerne meal, between 30 and 70 kg of body weight was carried out. The low fibre fraction of lucerne meal content in diet was positively correlated with crude fibre and cellulose digestibility as well as negatively with dry matter digestibility in pigs. No significant effect of diet low fibre fraction of lucerne meal content on weight gain in pigs was stated
