Fertilizer effect of slurry nitrogen in crop plants
1992
Mackowiak, C.
In 1975-80, 3 and 4 year field experiments had been conducted. Eight crops had been grown in the experiments: potatoes, sugar beets, fodder beets, rye, winter wheat, winter rape, spring barley, maize for grain, and maize for silage. The fertilizer effect of animal slurry nitrogen was compared to that of mineral fertilizers. Yields of the main crops and their by-products were determined. Agricultural and physiological efficiency of nitrogen fertilization and also uptake and utilization of nitrogen from mineral fertilizer and slurry was estimated
