Data of parturitions of 459 cows from rotational cross breeding between the Simmental, Holstein-Friesian, Polish Friesian and Jersey breeds were analysed. Labour duration was recorded. No significant effect of the genetic factors on calving performance was stated. The effect of calf presentation, birth weight, sire's breed and parity number on dystocia was observed
