For the purpose of analysis is defining reasons and results of population's changes in the border villages in Bystrzyca Klodzka province. The research had been done by adapting the compare analyse of the population states in 1939 and 1987 and also by the index of population in 1939 year to population in 1880 and in 1987 to 1939 on this area. The results of the research have proved, that hitherto border regulations had the restrictive character, because they had led to the great depopulation in the border villages including the emigration on the whole in a few cases
