Annual report for CIMMYT/ICARDA regional bread wheat nurseries: 1990-91

The data collected from 44 countries on 431 bread wheat nursery sets of regional yield trials, observation nurseries, segregating populations, crossing blocks, and heat tolerance observation nursery assembled, developed through the joint CIMMYT/ICARDA bread wheat activity, and distributed by ICARDA in early September 1989 for the 1990/91 season are reported. The bread wheat nurseries were prepared by the joint CIMMYT/ICARDA breeding activity at ICARDA. The results of regional bread wheat yield trials are presented at two levels: overall performance and performance at each location. The results of the bread wheat observation nurseries are presented in the following three forms: performance summary for all reported traits across the maximum number of locations, the best entries for selected variables at each location, and general performance of the best entries for selected variables. Information on bread wheat segregating populations, entry selected or from which single plants were selected, is reported. Performance summary for all reported traits across the maximum number of locations is provided.
