In drift gleyic soil in depth 0-0.3 m and 0.3-0.6 m using correlation coefficients and indices of correlation, the value of reciprocal conditioning of the content of ammonium (N-NH4), nitrate (N-NO3), inorganic (Nan), hydrolyzable (NLH), amidic (N-NH3), amino acid (N-NH2) and total nitrogen (Nt) was evaluated during the vegetation period of spring barley. The direct dependence between the content of inorganic and easily hydrolyzable nitrogen was found. Statistical evaluation (correlation coefficients and indices of correlation) emphasized the fact that the higher content of easily hydrolyzable nitrogen, the higher content of ammonium nitrogen. The decrease of NLH content is expressed by the increase of N-NH4 content. The statistical relation among given fractions was positive, the dynamic relation was negative, as well as related dependence of the fraction content of Nan to NLH, NLH to NH2-N, or NH3-N. The information on the Nan content can be utilized in the optimization of plant nutrition.
