Study on incidence of ectoparasites from 249 adult native chickens (aged 1-3 years, 94 males and 155 females) from 36 districts in 8 ampurs of Phitsanulok province during December 1988-May 1989 revealed the following ectoparasites : Menopon gallinae 84.3 %, Lipeurus caponis 81.9 %, Goniocotes gallinae 18.9 %, Goniodes dissimilis 5.2 %, Echidnophaga gallincea 0.8 %, Ornithaonyssus bursa 10 %, Megninia spp. 0.4 % and Pterolichus spp. 0.4 % and Pterolichus spp. 44.2 %
