Study of site index and yield of teak plantation was carried out at Lampang province in 1983-84. The best site qualities (site index 30) were Huay-Prao and Mae-Sai-Kum plantations at 10 year old and Huay-Tak plantation at 40 year old. From the recorded data, the relationships of stem volume and average diameter at breast height were expressed as regression equations. Moreover, the relationship of yield, basal area, number of trees per unit area and average diameter at breast height on age and height were also expressed by the multiple regression equations. These equations can be adopted for evaluating the expected values accurately when age and height of teak in plantation are known. Number of trees from the equation may not be accurately estimated due to the thinning of each plantation was not regularly performed. Yield table for teak plantation classified by site index in 10-60 year old and volume table at various diameter at breast height are presented. The estimated yield per hectare of teak plantation in Lampang province shows that stem volume (outer bark) at the rotation age of 60 years is 51.68, 116.47, 181.24, 246.13 and 310.91 cubic m./ha. for site index 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 respectively.
