Leaf mustard plants were grown during February 1984 to June 1984 and treated with one application of 0, 2,000 and 4,000 ppm daminozide by foliar application after transplanting 25 or 30 days. It was found that daminozide increased total plant weight, head weight and head formation up to 147.87-327-34 gm/plant, 60.34-65.91 gm/plant and 26.76-41.67 % over the control respectively. In addition, daminozide also sinificantly increased lateral shoots, inner leaves and diameter of stem but no significant change in number of outer leaves and length of stem.
