Studies on corn and sorghum insects are reported. Three experiments were carried out on corn insects. In Experiment 1, twelve varieties of corn and one sweet corn variety were tested for their disposition to corn talk borer attack. It was found that four varieties tended to retard the growth of corn stalk borer. In experiment 2, Mythima separata Walker damage on yield of Suwan 1 was assessed by random sampling. Samples without insect damage gave the highest yield. Experiment 3 showed that Heptachlor gave the best control of elephant weevil, followed by Lorshan, Furadan, Poss and Sevin. Experiment on sorghum insect was on the insecticidal control of sorghum shoot fly Atherigona varia soccata Rondani. Result is presented but not discussed.
