Influence of moisture regime on the efficiency of boron and zinc in soils of different properties
1992
Stevanovic, D. | Markovic, N. | Zdravkovic, M. (Institute for soil Science, Belgrade (Yugoslavia))
The application influence of different amounts of boron and zinc on alfalfa yield have been studied, as well as their plant uptake and contents of soluble forms in soil. The test was carried out in the pots under semicontrolled conditions at soil moisture from 35-65 of the field capacity. The tested soils (pseudogley, chernozem and sandy allivium) distinguish considerably in their physical and chemical properties and in their content of the tested microelements. The obtained increase in the yield and contents of the tested microelements in the plant and soil depended considerably on the soil properties and on their moisture regime, but much less on usable amounts of micro-fertilizers.
