The efficacy of ethofenprox for some apple and pear pests control

The efficacy of the insecticide ethofenprox (Trebon 10 F) for Cydia pomonella, Panonychus ulmi and Psylla pyri control was evaluated. Treatments against Panonychus ulmi were applied when population were above 10 mobile forms per leaf. The efficacy of Trebon 10 F was 35.8 to 70.5. Applications carried out to test the efficacy against Cydia pomonella were based on monitoring the flight phenology of the second generation moths. The efficacy ranged from 71 to 75. Trebon 10 F showed the greatest efficacy against Psylla pyri larvae. The efficacy of this insecticide ranged from 70 to 100 if applied after the hatching of larvae.
