Heavy metals content in fish from contaminated basins

The content of lead, cadmium, arsenic, mercury, copper and zinc has been studied in the musculature and the internal organs of fish from lead and zinc contaminated basins. The content of heavy metals in the Kardjali dam waters has been examined and in its main feeder - the Arda river. It has been established that the heavy metal content increases with the advanced age of the fish.
