The effect of different dressings on the potato crop yield and nitrates content in tubers was studied. It was found that the most efficient is to introduce 40 t/ha of animal manure with straw + N sub (90) P sub (60) K sub (120) resulting in the crop yield of 38.1 t/ha with the content of 127 mg/kg
