Studies on the nitrogen nutrition for Diospyros lotus seedling

The experiments on fertilizer application for Diospyros lotus were made with seedlings grown in nursery bed, with 6 treatments and 3 repeats. The effects of added nitrogen and phosphorus on growth and foliar concentration of N, P and K of seedlings were determined. When N content was 3.5-4, P content was 0.2-0.3, K content was 1.0 of foliar in July and August, the seedling growth was significant for yield. In local natural condition, application N 180 kg/ha and P2O5 120 kg/ha were the suitable fertilizer rate.
