Heating plastic greenhouses with a solar passive water-sleeve system

The performance was studied over a 4-year period of a system of plastic sleeves or tubes filled with water and placed between plant rows to serve as heat collectors. An external solar collector-pond had higher heat collection efficiency than the sleeves or tubes but the extra heat collected was lost during transfer to the greenhouse.
