The structure for the existence of corporative farm management

The theme of this report is to clarify the Corporative Farm Management's concern with farmers and the local agriculture. We have come to the following conclusions. The Corporative Farm Management concept was created by the farmers themselves to meet their demand for more efficient apple-growing management practices. Thus, they would have more time to devote to rice growing. Full-time professional managers were hired to run the Corporative Farm Management. The additional profit made by implementing the Corporative Farm Management offset the cost of recruiting and employing the new managers. The corporation members also supply the labor to maintain the Corporative Farm Management. There has been a growing tendency for the management to rely on the members' labor. The members who can offer labor are limited to those who can successfully manage their own apple growing businesses. In conclusion, it is essential for the Corporative Farm Management to support the members' apple growing business and the local agriculture itself to be successful. It can be said that character of the Corporative Farm Management has been to become the means of maintaining the members' apple growing business, rather than expansion of the farm management
