[Study on the effect of calcium hydroxide application in acid soil]
1992
Jo Jong Gil (Wonsan Agricultural Univ., Wonsan (Korea Democratic People's Republic))
The application of calcium hydroxide promotes the dissolution of the soil humus. It has close correlation between the effect of calcium hydroxide application in the first year and the soil acidity or the soil humic content. The reason of the reduction of the effect after applied calcium hydroxide is caused by reacidification of soil and the reduction of humus and soluble nitrogen contents
