[Induction of callus from organ and tissue cell of maize]

The medium composition profitable to get callus, was decided, checking the formation of callus from self pollination line of maize and from several organs and cells of hybrid. The callus was gained from ovule, stem meristem, tassel numbers, unripe embryo of maize, and the formation strength. The formation rate of callus was the highest in tassel numbers with 1-2 mm length, and ovule from germination period of one-leaf period. It was most effective to utilize 2,4-D as a inductor for getting callus of maize
