The aim of the given research is to develop the technology for the improvement of perennial sward surface by sod-seeding legume seeds in the old sward. For that purpose the suitability of different legume varieties and species for sod seeding has been studied. The viability of reseeded plants, the yield and quality of sward have been investigated. The importance of legume content in perennial sewards of meadows and pastures for their improvement is pointed out. The influence of legume sod-seeding on sward yielding capacity and yield quality is shown in tables.
