Method of determination of critical moisture content in a thin layer of green crop

Moisture content versus time of drying tests were conducted at 95 and 141 degees C for thin layers of stalks and leaves of clover samples. The methods of variance analysis and regression analysis were used to predict a critical moisture content. Empiric formulas describing moisture content in the function of time of drying for the 1st and 2nd period were determined. Presented method enables only approximation of critical moisture content because of dissatisfying accuracy of the results
