Response of sunflower's cultivars in strubble aftercrop in time of sowing

In the field experiment conducted in the years 1974-77 cropping, dynamics of weight increase and content of total protein of one Polish and four foreign sunflower cultivars were compared in two times of sowing. The green matter crops of sunflower sowed in the third decade of July were higher by 21 percent and that of dry matter were higher by 36 percent in the comparison with sunflower's sowed in the first decade of August. The green matter crops of Polish cultivar Wielkopolski were lower and the dry matter crops were not significant different in the comparison with foreign cultivars.
