Effect of increased nitrogen fertilization level on technological quality of some spring and winter wheat varieties

Three winter wheat Gama, Panda and Livilla and three spring wheat Henika, Jara and Kadett varieties were tested based on three levels of the nitrogen fertilization: 50, 100 and 150 kg/ha. Basic physical and chemical properties of grains were determined as well as tentative milling and laboratory baking quality were estimated. It has been proved that the apparent glassiness and the protein content in the grains showed an increasing tendency. The effect of experimental factors on the flour and bread production proved to be statistically insignificant
