Determination method of imazethapyr (Pivot 100 SC) and its residues in soil and plant

The field of horse bean was treated with Pivot 100 SC herbicide (imazethapyr) and after some time a new determination method was used to show dynamics of decay of this compound in the soil and in the plants. This method has a good parameters: 70-100 percent of recovery, 0.05-0.80 ng of sensivity and 0.001-0.080 mg/kg limit of detection - depending on the analysed material. After harvest time (136 days) imazethapyr was not detected in plants, but in the soil it was found only 12-13 percent (0.006-0.009 mg/kg) of previous amount
