Protective effect of certain fungicides before infecting runner bean (Phaseolus coccineus L.) by pathogenic fungi living in the soil

Several fungicides were examined for control of pathogenic fungi present in runner bean. First the fungicides were tested in laboratory conditions on fungi grown at agar substrate. Than the same fungicides were applied as a dressing before sowing runner bean seeds. After two weeks efficiency of studied fungicides was examined. It was found that two of them are the best: Oxafun T and Dithane M-45
