[Influence of plant density on yielding of sugar beet and quality of labour of harvesting machines]

Along with the decreasing distance between plants in a row and increasing plant density per area unit the following features were decreased: protrusion of roots under ground, average weight of roots, sugar content and average content of alpha-amine nitrogen, potassium and sodium. Plant density from 60 to 120 thousand of plant beet per hectare in spite of considerable differentiation of structure of plant distribution into row were not caused important differentiation of root yields, sugar yields and technological value of roots. The yield of beet leaves was increased along with increasing final plant density
