In the group of very early and early varieties, the lengthening of terms from flower occurrence to drying off the stems have caused increase in tuber yield. Subsequently with medium late and late varieties the yield was positively correlated with the florescence period. The starch content decreased, when time from flower buds formation till blooming was lengthened in very early, early and medium late groups. In all early groups the eye depth in tubers increased when the growing time of plants have increased. It has been proved, that longer florescence caused the increase in tuber flesh darkening
