Yielding capacity of alfalfa varieties grown for seed

The standard variety Radius in growth seasons with conductive and adverse weather conditions yielded 351.3 kg/ha and 184 kg/ha of seed respectively. Seed yields of a variety Boja were similar to the standard one. Variety Tula and Kometa yielded poorly under adverse weather conditions and seed yields of Kleszczewska and Warminska were very unstable regardless of the weather. Six new strains of domestic origin did not show a good yielding capacity
