Annual report for the international barley yield trials 1992-93 [Hordeum vulgare]

The data collected from 44 countries on 431 barley nursery sets of yield trials in low rainfall cool, mild, and moderate areas, respectively, assembled and distributed by ICARDA in early September 1992 for the 1992/93 season are reported. The results of barley yield trials are presented at three levels: overall performance, regional performance, and performance at each location. The results of the barley observation nurseries are presented in the following three forms: performance summary for all variables across the maximum number of locations, the best entries for selected variables at each location, and general performance of the best entries for selected variables. Information on barley segregating populations, entry selected or from which single plants were selected, is reported.
