The influence of the A vitamin oil concentrate on the vitamin provision of newborn calves in the colostrum period in dependence of the injection method was studied. At the latent form of A hypovitaminosis single intramuscular injection of the A vitamin oil concentrate in dose of 250 thousands to the newborn calves in colostrum period considerably improved their health state. The long A vitamin application or its using in high doses are toxic at any injection method to the newborn calves
