Soi microflora properties have been quantified for the main ecosystems of the area, correlations have been looked for with the existing biological activity and abiotic environmental factors. The number of microorganisms in the majority of main physiological groups studied has been found to be high. Their potential activity was most completely realized in soils of intrazonal leaved forests, while the least efficient it was in soils of zonal communities - Sphagnum larch forests and dwarf Pinus groves
